The Chain Gang of 1974 is a one man army (and he’s also the guy behind the drum set for 3OH!3 on tour) , Jonathan + B-Pro is the second coming of Prince with more balls and dare I say better dance moves, and Rhinoceropolis regulars Jospehine & the Mousepeople. Is it safe to say that the city of Denver is going through a Renaissance period?The talent sprouting on the scene is becoming more of a presence and more noticeable from around the country. The latest on the scene is Jonathan + BPro. The duo bring a Prince meets TV on the Radio persona to the stage (I haven’t seen them live, but what I can see on video and word of mouth). Those two references alone make my all jumpy inside. The clash of early 90’s R&B meets electro in a way that follows in the footsteps of Felix da Housecat. You can catch the duo this week at the Illiterate Magazine Aural Pleasures party.....
